Description

Ei led the planning and senior management of the Technology Readiness Program for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, including Technology Rehearsals One and Two.

  • Served as program lead for technical and operational matters, collaborating with the Paris 2024 Technology Project Management Office, the wider Organising Committee, and the International Olympic Committee.
  • Managed the planning and recruitment for the Technical Readiness and Rehearsals Officials Program.
  • Developed and managed the Technology Readiness Integrated Master Roadmap.
  • Directed the Technology Rehearsal Central Team, overseeing planning, content development, and execution.
  • Planned, designed, and facilitated briefing, debriefing, and training sessions.
  • Designed, built, and implemented the core Technology Rehearsal tool, including the Technology Rehearsal Information Platform, to schedule, execute, and evaluate rehearsals.
  • Produced the final Technology Rehearsals report for the Paris 2024 Technology Project Management Office.
  • Active member of the Paris 2024 Technology Senior Leadership Steering Committee.

Technology Rehearsal 1 (TR1) took place March 18–22, 2024, across 40 venues, including the TOC, CTOC, and ITL. Two venues simulated competition in the On-Venue Results Room with key partners Atos and Omega; other venues and sports were simulated from the ITL in Spain.

Technology Rehearsal 2 (TR2) occurred May 13–17, 2024, at 39 venues, including the TOC and CTOC. During TR2, 21 venues simulated competition in the On-Venue Results Room with Atos and Omega. TR2 followed TR1 by 52 days.

  • TR1: 1,311 completed scenarios, 67 Technology Rehearsal Officials, 721 technology participants, 947 ITSM tickets logged.
    TR2: 1,423 completed scenarios, 83 Technology Rehearsal Officials, 1,014 technology participants, 1,420 ITSM tickets logged.
